Located in one of Phuket's most upmarket areas, Bangtao Beach. The beach, dining, shopping and a host of other amenities are all within close proximity to the villa.

Important information about your stay

Pool depth - 1.2m (swallow end) and 1.5m (deep end). No diving, running or jumping.
No smoking or vaping inside the villa.
Pool and garden maintenance is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1.00pm/ 13.00 which lasts approx. 45 minutes. Access to the pool house guest room is needed.
There is a washer and dryer in the external laundry room located in the front passage way of the villa.
Trash collection is daily. Please leave bags inside the silver disposal box (opposite to the outside laundry room).
Please keep noise and music at a reasonable level.
Please secure your valuables in the safe provided. We are not responsible for any losses.
Handle the facilitates with care. Any damages may incur fees.
The onsite gym and spa are currently closed for renovations.

Beach Access

Bangtao Beach is a 4 minute drive to the access point with parking. The access point if walking is via the Amora Beach Resort, which takes 15 minutes.

There are a number of beach clubs dotted along the shore, as well as local bars/ restaurants with sunbeds and parasols for rent. Massage services are also available on the beach. There are jet skis and other watersports on offer.

Please note that swimming in the sea in low season (May to October) is not advised due to the strong currents and rough seas on the west coast of the island.

Surin Beach is a 10 minute drive but there are no longer sun loungers or umbrellas available to hire, nor any restaurants/ bars, so go prepared. Laem Sing Beach is a hidden beach not accessible by car or bike. You can reach there by a mild hike over the rocks at the south end of Surin Beach. Drive and stop at Laem Sing Beach Viewpoint as an alternative to view the beach.

Access and Transport

There are three entrances to The Residence, only one of these has vehicle access to the villa. Use this location to locate the correct entrance. The entrance beside the on-site restaurant, La Napoletana, does not have vehicle access to the villa. Alternative entrances - front here and rear here - only have pedestrian access to the villa.

There are car and bike rental services here and here on the main road at the entrance to The Residence.

Shopping

Located a few minutes (walk or drive) is a Tops convenience store which is open 24/7. This is the closest store to the villa and has an ATM. Located 3 minutes drive is a larger supermarket, Lotus's Go Fresh.

Food and grocery delivery is available from the Grab app. Please refer to address details above.

Porto De Phuket and Boat Avenue offer supermarkets, boutiques, bars, restaurants and other retail stores. Approx. 10 minutes by car.

Bangtao Night Market is open on Monday and Thursday from 4.00pm/ 16.00, selling local food, clothes, handbags. accessories and tech items. Located a 6 minute walk away. On Fridays evenings, there is a market at Boat Avenue.

There are many Thai massage outlets in the area and along the beach. The closest massage outlets are 5 minutes walk from the villa located here. In the same area, the nearest beauty salon is EvaDa and barber shop Men's Story.

A pilates studio is within walking distance at Sculpt Reformer Pilates. One of the nearby gyms is Delta 55 Fitness. Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA is a 5 minute drive away and is one of the leading Thai boxing gyms in Phuket.

Activities

Andamanda Phuket is one of the island's largest waterparks and is approx. 45 minutes drive away.

Flying Hanuman Zipline Park offers highwire ziplining through the forest which is a 40 minute drive. Nearby is the Katu Jungle Waterfall.

Elephant Care Park Nai Dee Phuket is where you can get up close and bathe the rescued elephants, around 10 minutes away.

Siam Bike Tours & Road Bike Rentals offers a great way to explore the island with bike and e-bike options for rent or guided tours. Located in Boat Avenue.

Adventure Mini-Golf, with a bar and restaurant onsite, is 5 minutes drive away.

The Best Western Hotel on Bangtao Beach offers Thai cookery courses twice per week for a reasonable price. Check the notice board in the lobby or ask at reception.

Visit Phuket Old Town, around a 1 hour drive, for an authentic Thai experience known for brightly painted, century-old Sino-Portuguese townhouses, with stores selling artisanal ice cream and batik fabrics, and a Sunday evening market for souvenirs and street food. The Thai Hua Museum features exhibits on Chinese immigrant culture, and Jui Tui Shrine displays colorful statues of Chinese gods.

Phuket FantaSea is a "touristy" Thai nighttime theme park located in Kamala, which is a 15 minute drive. The park covers an area of 60 acres and includes a Thai culture theatrical show, a theme buffet restaurant, and a shopping street.

Watch aircraft take off and land at Phuket International Airport directly under the flightpath at Mai Khao Beach viewing spot.

The Big Buddha shrine is currently closed.
